The Oaks is a community unto itself.  With card clubs, college classes, dancing, dining, church services, and other social opportunities all within walking distance from your own home, there's never a need to worry about icy roads or traffic conditions. Choose from dining at home, in the gracious Lakeside Room, the luxurious private Terrace Room, or the comfortably casual Creamery Café. Shop at the Emporium convenience store.  Work out in the Fitness Center.  Study in the Library or go online in our Computer center.	At The Oaks, we believe that the mind should not retire.
Local trips such as shopping, outings to local restaurants or shows, trips to town with your neighbors and friends, and other needs you might have away from The Oaks can easily be accommodated in our community van.
